AASP Core Committee

The AASP Core Committee is the foundation of the Acupuncture Association of Maharashtra (AASP). Comprised of dedicated professionals, the Core Committee is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, key initiatives, and overall management of the association. This group ensures that AASP’s goals are aligned with the needs of acupuncturists and works towards promoting the growth and recognition of acupuncture in Maharashtra and beyond.

AASP Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is a team of highly experienced and committed acupuncturists who play an active role in the day-to-day operations of AASP. They are responsible for implementing the plans and programs decided by the Core Committee, including education, member services, and public awareness campaigns. The Executive Committee ensures the smooth functioning of AASP’s activities and provides leadership and guidance to the broader membership.

AASP unites practitioners and organizations, representing their interests to the government and promoting the growth and recognition of acupuncture as a respected healthcare discipline.

REPRESENTING THE VOICE OF THE ACUPUNCTURIST

AASP is striving to unify all acupuncturists and acupuncture organisations under one roof. A strong organisation will represent the concerns of Acupuncturists to the Government for solutions.

PROMOTING EDUCATION

AASP is involved in promoting Acupuncture Education to upgrade the the knowledge of Acupuncture. AASP has initiated interactive ACU-EDU forums to facilitate learning and exchange of knowledge.

AASP ASSISTANCE CELL

AASP has set up a dedicated Assistance Cell to help all acupuncturists. Acupuncturists can contact AASP helpline for any issue related to the practice of Acupuncture.

ACUSTAR MEMBERSHIP SERVICES

AASP has launched an unique membership service called ACUSTAR. This membership offers a host of benefits to the members.

CHARITABLE CLINICS

AASP has plans to organise many charitable clinics in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra. Such charitable clinics will be managed by senior and experienced acupuncture professionals.

ACUPUNCTURE PROMOTION

AASP offers Acupuncture promotion activities. AASP members give talks in various housing societies, clubs to spread awareness; also many articles are released in media to promote acupuncture

ASSOCIATIONS

AASP is contacting various acupuncture organisations in Maharashtra, other parts of India and also International organisations and institutions. By an unique way of associating with the Acupuncture world , it will help in the learning and development of acupuncture

ORGANISING & ENDORSING ACUPUNCTURE EVENTS

AASP has organised many training workshops, and national conferences. AASP also encourages and assists other organisations to organise and conduct acupuncture events.

AASP AIMS

  • 1.

    To standardise the science of Acupuncture and the concept of Healing by vital energy manipulation as a whole which includes different forms of merid- ian healing techniques like reflexology, meridian manipulation etc.

  • 2.

    To undertake research in the fields of Natural Healing, its traditional concepts and rationale, and its scientific translation in modern medicine ian healing techniques like reflexology, meridian manipulation etc.

  • 3.

    To form an association of qualified practitioners which will work towards providing ethical services to the masses.

  • 4.

    Organising All Strata Of Acupuncture Practitioners Throughout State Under One Roof, Standardise And Develop Them Accordingly As Per The Proposed Guideline Placed To The Govt.

    Interacting with other acupuncture associations and national / international bodies to create an interactive platform for exchange of clinical experience and development of the science.

    To provide representation to the Government authorities for recognition and regularisation of the science and its practice.

  • 7.

    To provide complete services to the practitioners by way of web information, training programs, study material, registration, database of material/equipment vendors etc. and guidelines to set up effective practice.

    To undertake research programmes in co-operation with private and government institutions.

    To hold regular workshops and CME’s to enhance the Skills of practitioners and expose them to New Horizons in the field
